At the end of September, IBPRS researchers – Prof. Krystian Marszałek and Dr. Amin Mousavi Khaneghah from the Department of Fruit and Vegetable Product Technology participated in the ‘3rd International Conference of the Food Allergy Forum’ in Amsterdam.

The main objectives were to provide a unique platform for the food industry stakeholders to exchange information and experiences on the various aspects of food allergy, as well as to review current knowledge related to food allergy. Discussion on strategies for prevention and control of food allergy ensuring food safety and protecting human health were also held.

IBPRS participated with one lecture and three posters presented by Dr. Amin Mousavi Khaneghah and Prof. Krystian Marszalek. Our scientists held side meetings  with experts and companies and discussed potential collaboration. They also had the opportunity to participate in a workshop sponsored and presented by SCIEX  –  ‘LC-MS/MS for qualitative and confirmatory analysis of allergens’.
