IBPRS representative at the 8th Cereals & Europe Spring Meeting in Zagreb

On 9-12th April, Anna Szafrańska, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Grain Processing and Bakery at Instytut Biotechnologii Przemysłu Rolno-Spożywczego – PIB took part in the 8th Cereals & Europe Spring Meeting in Zagreb, Croatia.

 The conference included 8 thematic sessions, over 50 lectures and poster sessions. Ms. Szafrańska presented a lecture entitled  ‘Factors influencing the accumulation of asparagine in grain and the acrylamide content in bread’  and a poster entitled ‘Spelt x Wheat Hybrids as a new material for breadmaking’. Participation in the conference was financed under the COST Action CA21149 – Dissemination Conference grant application E-COST.
