We are pleased to announce that within the Institute’s cooperation with EFSA, 2 young researchers from the IBPRS-PIB have received scholarships in this year’s edition of The European Food Risk Assessment (EU-FORA) Fellowship Programme. They will complete their 12-month internships at 2 European universities.
One of the beneficiaries – Łukasz Woźniak, Ph.D. from the Department of Food Analysis will implement a project in the „Assessement of chemical risks and benefits connected with algae consumption” at the University of Alicante in Spain (Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Food Science Department). Another beneficiary of the EU-FORA Fellowship Programme is Nikola Śmigielska, M.Sc. from the Department of Food Quality who will realize her project “Combined stochastic modeling of pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms in ready to eat foods” within the internship at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Department of Food Science Technology) in Greece.
Participation in the EU-FORA Fellowship Programme offers an opportunity to acquire or improve your skills in the field of risk assessment in the area of food safety.
